So, since we were in NM when Eric turned 4 & he didn't get to have a proper b-day party & since Mason's b-day was right after we moved back, we decided to have a double birthday party. Eric picked Chuck E. Cheese, suprise, suprise. (Actually he picked It'z at first, but since they're only in Albuquerque, Houston & Colorado Springs, that was gonna be a little hard to do.) Since I was making the cake & cupcakes, I let the boys pick out what they wanted. I'm sure you can guess who picked what.

Back to Texas We Go!
hello all! as promised, an all new post (or two or ten, whatever) to catch everyone up to the current adventures the boys are having!
Sometimes it feels like forever ago that we made that LONNNGG trip back to Texas then in the next moment it feels just like yesterday. The weekend of September 13, we offically became full time Texas residents again. It's so hard to belive that we were only gone for 9 months, New Mexico started to feel like home.
When Danny left for New Mexico in November all he took was 2 suitcases, stuffed full of work clothes, a toothbrush & a razor. The boys & I took with us 3 Rubbermaid totes & a couple of suitcases, all that could easily fit into the back of my truck. Well, it was a very different story on the return trip. For the trip home I rented the biggest U-Haul trailer I could get. We had that thing jam packed, along with the bed of my pickup & the cab, we were like sardines in there. All in all the trip went smoothly & we pulled into my parents driveway @ 10 am (Texas time) on Sat. Sept. 13th. The boys & I miss New Mexico dearly; Danny, not so much. To him the white stuff makes for pretty pictures but not much good beyond that.
the boys are entertaining themselves
